This Privacy Policy explains how AI Comment Bot ("the Bot"), operated in connection with the Mzansi Soccer News / METV social media properties, processes information when it monitors and responds to comments on Facebook Pages.

1. Information we process

The Bot may receive publicly available Facebook Page activity delivered through Meta's APIs, including comment text, comment identifiers, post identifiers, Page identifiers, timestamps and limited information supplied by Meta with a comment event. The Bot may also process technical information needed to receive and respond to webhook events.

2. How we use information

We use this information to monitor Page comments, determine whether a response is appropriate, generate an automated response using AI services, and publish that response as a reply or comment on the relevant Facebook Page.

3. AI processing

Comment content may be sent to an AI service used by the Bot to generate or evaluate a response. We do not use the Bot to make decisions about a person's eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, healthcare or other high-impact decisions.

4. Sharing

Information may be processed by service providers required to operate the Bot, such as Meta's Facebook Graph API infrastructure, hosting providers, logging systems and AI processing services. We do not sell comment information.

5. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Bot, subject to technical logs and applicable legal requirements. Where information is no longer required, it may be deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect credentials and data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and requests

If you want information associated with your interactions with the Bot deleted, use the Data Deletion Instructions page. You may also manage your Facebook settings and interactions directly through Meta.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated when the Bot's functionality or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
